BILINGUAL DEPARTMENT - ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM
Dear Garvy Family,
Currently we have about 200 bilingual students from more than twenty language groups enrolled in our program at Garvy and about 100 who after three years graduate but are still under my watch and eligible for additional assistance if needed. There are about 50 new students from bilingual families that enrolled this summer.
Overall bilingual students outperform monolingual students in the long run during their education in our school and beyond. In addition, our program promotes the knowledge of different cultures and languages and with many enrichment activities to cultivate international worldview and to produce successful citizens of the world in this global economy.
