Garvy Elementary School Home

Cradles to Crayons provided children, living in low-income or homeless situations, with the essentials they need to thrive at home, at school and at play. They supply clothing, coats, shoes, diapers, school supplies, and more, free of charge.

Calling all inspired artists! Saint Patrick High School is having an art contest! This is a great opportunity for 5th-8th grade boys and girls to show off their creative side and win some amazing prizes! All entries must be submitted and/or postmarked by October 22, 2026. Contest winners will be declared by November 13, 2026. See the attachment for more details and instructions to share with your teachers and their students!

During the month of September, we will practice what to do in case of fire, severe weather, or a need to lockdown the building. We take safety very seriously at Garvy and providing students with the information for what to do in case of an emergency at school is very important.

Garvy School opened its doors on October 26, 1936 and this fall we will celebrate our 90th Birthday with a community party on Friday, October 16th.
