All classes are cancelled for Friday, January 23. All after-school programming, including athletic practices and games, is also canceled for Friday. No students should report to school as the building(s) will be closed.
After carefully monitoring the National Weather Service forecast for the past 24 hours, the District has determined that the predicted frigid temperatures, combined with wind chills that could reach -35 degrees, will be unsafe for students and staff to travel to school.
Classes will resume on Monday, January 26.

The Knights of Columbus Council of St. Monica and St. Rosalie Parish is
hosting a Youth Free Throw Shooting Contest on Sunday, February 1,
2026 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at St. Monica’s Gym located on Mont
Clare Avenue 1⁄2 block south of Foster Avenue. The contest is open to
boys and girls ages 9 to 14 years old. Prizes will be awarded to the
winners of each age range. All those interested must sign up in-person
with a parent or guardian at St. Monica’s gym between 12:00 pm and
12:30 pm on the day of the event.

We would love to welcome your students and their families to Resurrection College Prep for our upcoming Basketball Future Bandit Night. This special evening is a fun way for prospective students to experience the energy of a Resurrection home game, connect with our community, and get a glimpse of life as a Bandit.

This is a counseling group that focuses on 6-8th grade children who would benefit from behavioral interventions to improve their self-esteem and learn more about handling "big emotions" in a healthy way.
